The newest mall the Hawaiian Islands has seen in a long time has been built in Kapolei, Hawaii on West Oahu, featuring Macy's as the anchor tenant, with many more businesses to open their doors soon! Grand opening was in October 2016.
Ka Makana Alii is situated on 67 acres of land that has been leased long-term from the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands and the agreements have been drawn up so that the success of the mall will also directly benefit surrounding Hawaiian Homelands communities and other Native Hawaiian interests throughout the great Aloha State of Hawaii.

Macy's is the anchor tenant store at the Ka Makana Ali'i Mall in Kapolei, Hawaii on West Oahu. The newest and third largest mall in Hawaii! Good stuff and more video tours to come!
Macy's actually occupies 103,000 sq. ft. of space in the mall (I was WAY off in my babble on the video), and is expected to employ upwards of 180 staff.
The mall will ultimately feature more than 100 shops, restaurants and other business establishments, including two hotels, LEED-certified office space, movie theater and 24-hour gym!
