China Oceanwide Holdings Ltd. purchased the two remaining oceanfront parcels with plans to develop into resorts. The same company also purchased 500+ acres between Ko'Olina and Kapolei Commons shopping center area. Future development is expected to occur between the resort and the existing Kapolei shopping center.
